Storengy Deutschland marketing a working gas volume of 450 GWh in the storage facility in Lesum

Berlin, 23 April 2021. In the coming weeks, Storengy Deutschland GmbH will be marketing a working gas volume of around 450 GWh in the storage facility in Lesum.

The Lesum 21/23 Product is being offered for a contract period from 1^st June 2021 to 1^st April 2023. It consists of nine bundles; each bundle has a firm working gas volume of approx. 50 GWh as well as a firm injection rate of 25 MWh/h and a firm withdrawal rate of 70 MWh/h. No operational fee is charged for the first filling for each respective storage year. Thereafter, a fee of 0.50 EUR/MWh is charged for injection. For this product, customers must book transport capacities by themselves. A fixed storage price in EUR/MWh per storage year will be requested. Injection and withdrawal curves have to be considered.

For this Lesum product, the Green Storage Option can be booked for an additional fee of 0.10 EUR/MWh. This means that all the energy needed to operate this product comes from renewable sources: renewable electricity is used for the injection and biogas is used for the withdrawal of gas. This enables CO2 savings and ensures a green value chain.

In order to participate in the tender, a (non-binding) registration per email at auctions@storengy.de is mandatory. Please send your registration by 30^th April 2021, 2 p.m. (CET). The capacity marketing will take place between 4^th May 2021 and 20^th May 2021. The exact date of marketing will be announced with one day’s notice.
