Storage capacity marketing: Schmidhausen SY 24 + 1 Product

Storengy Deutschland will be marketing approximately 400 GWh of working gas volume in four bundles in its Schmidhausen pore storage facility for the storage years 2024/25 and 2025/26.

The auction will take place on a certain date between 5th December 2023 and 14th December 2023.
Berlin, 23rd November 2023. Storengy Deutschland will be marketing a working gas volume of approximately 400 GWh in four bundles with its Schmidhausen SY 24 + 1 Product at the Virtual Trading Point Trading Hub Europe. The product is physically based on the Schmidhausen storage. The storage facilities Harsefeld, Lesum, Peckensen and Uelsen may be used as back-up for the purpose of deferred injection or withdrawal.
The storage product is offered for a contract duration from 1st April 2024 to 1st April 2025, alternatively from 1st April 2024 to 1st April 2026.
The customer may choose between three options for the operational costs:
- For the first cycling, operational costs are included, thereafter a fee of 0.85 Euro per each injected MWh will be charged.
- For every injection, a fee of 0.85 Euro per MWh will be charged.
- Storage customer will deliver to Storengy a quantity of gas equivalent to a heat quantity of 1,740 MWh per bundle, cycling and storage year for fuel purposes.
The auction will take place on a certain day between 5th December 2023 and 14th December 2023. The exact day of the marketing will be announced 24 hours in advance. In order to take part in the auction a registration in Storengy’s Storage Portal and an authorisation for the auction platform are mandatory.
