Managing Directors

Dr Frank Fischer is Managing Director of Storengy Deutschland GmbH since 1 September 2023 and Managing Director of Storengy Deutschland Betrieb GmbH since 1 February 2021. He is an an engineer for energy and process technology and has around 20 years of experience in the ENGIE Group, including in the project development of new plants, in technical and commercial management, in portfolio management, in maintenance and deployment optimisation as well as in occupational safety and environmental protection. 

Daniel Mercer is Managing Director of Storengy Deutschland GmbH since 1 October 2023. He is a physicist and energy economist and has also been with the ENGIE Group for around 20 years. In the course of his career, he has gained extensive experience in asset management of power and heat generation plants, portfolio management and business development. In his previous role as Head of Business Development at Storengy, he has primarily driven the further development of new business areas in the fields of hydrogen, biomethane and geothermal energy.

Dual leadership for Storengy Deutschland GmbH since 1 October 2023: Dr Frank Fischer takes over the technical management and is also the spokesman for the management. Daniel Mercer is responsible for the commercial activities of the company.
