Storengy signs Diversity Charter
Storengy has signed the Diversity Charter and has thus made a visible commitment to an appreciative working environment free from prejudice
By signing the Diversity Charter, Storengy Deutschland is sending a clear signal for diversity and tolerance in the working world and is signalling its appreciation of all employees regardless of their gender and gender identity, nationality, ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age, sexual orientation and identity.
The topic of diversity is already an integral part of Storengy’s corporate culture. In working groups, known as culture tables, employees regularly exchange views on these and similar topics in order to find solutions, raise awareness and get to know the different dimensions of diversity better.
"Our working environment is constantly moving,” says Catherine Gras, Managing Director of Storengy Deutschland. “Thanks to our commitment to more diversity, we are able to adapt to social and economic changes. The more diverse our workforce, the better we can understand and answer societal expectations. With the Diversity Charter, we are showing our commitment to our employees, our customers and our stakeholders.”
About the Diversity Charter:
The Diversity Charter is an employer initiative to promote diversity in companies and institutions under the patronage of German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The centrepiece of the initiative is a certificate. This is the Diversity Charter in the literal sense, and represents the voluntary commitment by the signatories to promote diversity and appreciation in the working world.
