Coronavirus: Storengy secures storage operation
Storengy Deutschland takes several measures to maintain business continuity.
As an internationally active company and operator of a critical infrastructure, Storengy Deutschland is aware of its responsibility towards employees, customers, partners and stakeholders in view of the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Therefore, several measures have been taken to protect people from infection, to ensure the operation of the natural gas storage facilities and thus to guarantee security of supply. The following precautions have been applied:
- Restricted access to the control rooms of the technical and commercial dispatching
- Adaptation of working methods at the storage facilities to maintain distance
- Expansion of home office activities at the administrative locations
- Increased awareness for compliance with common hygiene measures according to the German Robert Koch Institute
Developments relating to the coronavirus are monitored daily in order to keep employees constantly informed and to adjust the measures taken as necessary. Storengy Deutschland acts in accordance with the requirements of the local authorities and the ENGIE Group, as well as with its Business Continuity Plan, in order to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic in an organized and controlled manner.
